picture [In reply to] Can't Post

Where did you see that picture if I may ask?

I would find it very interesting if it was Beorn. The hair certainly looks interesting even if the picture is a little bit grainy Smile

It would be nice to see more stuff as the movie is slowly approaching Smile Since I am not against spoilers, spoil away PJ!!!! Cool

Tauriel (as her hair catches during BO5A)- Ah, now I understand why you keep your beard so short, master Kili!
Kili: Um, because it grows slowly? (glares at her for perceived insult)
Tauriel: Because your arrows don't get tangled in your *^%*(^$%* beard every time you shoot! (more curses as it gets further tangled)
Kili: Um, YEAH! That's it! That's why I keep my beard short! (strides off triumphantly with a huge grin on his face, still shooting arrows as the cursing and tangles continues behind him)

Tauriel keeps fighting the tangles on the battlefield long after Dain takes the throne and Dale is rebuilt. Frodo takes the ring to Morder and once Sauron is defeated she FINALLY gets the last arrow out.

Unsure About This [In reply to] Can't Post

I expected Beorn to be taller and broader. Muscular like Dwayne Johnson not like Chris Hemsworth. The Mohawk is interesting. So is the Mohawk going to be a theme? Dwalin had one and do I remember right that Dain is going to have one too? When is " The Hairstyles of Middle Earth" going to be published?

Blanka [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm not sure if I like this Blanka look...I was expecting a blonde Beorn since they cast Persbrandt, but I'm still dissapointed that he does not have black hair.

Not very promising. [In reply to] Can't Post

But it's a terrible photograph.

Maybe it'll look better in focus.

I like that he seems very non-human [In reply to] Can't Post

I always imagined he'd be quite a ruggedly handsome man, hugely built.

But the idea of him being more of a creature is interesting and would make it less confusing for audiences when he shape-shifts. I just hope he isn't too fake looking

That would be the total antithesis of everything book-Beorn was. [In reply to] Can't Post

Remember, Gandalf warned Bilbo against even mentioning any article of clothing made out of skin or fur.

I am officially burned out [In reply to] Can't Post

The ONE thing I was looking forward to the most with these films, and this is what they come up with. I think I'm going to be sick.

Awful. Just straight-up awful.

DISCLAIMER: This is, of course, assuming the picture is legit.

He might look better in higher res. Or if not, his design might grow on you... [In reply to] Can't Post

I found that with most the reveal images I wasn't really happy... but they've all grown on me since. I remember the Oin, Gloin and Bilbo pics being the only ones I got genuinely excited about.

Why is bear-Beorn apparently attacking the dwarves in the trailer? [In reply to] Can't Post

I wonder whether Beorn will be like The Hulk - unable to control his bear form. It could even be that he becomes a bear when he's angry?
