Jareth vs Thorin Oakenshield Can't Post

Who would win in a battle of wits? Jareth, the handsome Goblin King of the Labyrinth, who rules over all the goblins with the strictness of a teacher, and a soft spot for a human baby, or Thorin Oakenshield, the handsome Dwarf prince of Erebor, who is out on a quest of revenge and recovery, taking twelve other dwarves and a hobbit into imminent danger in order to reclaim his kingdom.
Who would win? Jareth who has control over Goblin City, or Thorin, who bosses around twelve dwarves?
Remember, this is a battle of wits. Wink

Never seen Labyrinth [In reply to] Can't Post

So I'll have to go with Thorin.

If it was a fight to the death... [In reply to] Can't Post

Thorin would probably win because he doesn't stop to sing every 10 minutes. Laugh

Where are we [In reply to] Can't Post

In the Labyrinth or in Erebor?
Would make a huge difference.
And are we trying to get from one end to the other the fastest or with some assignments.

If we battle in the Labyrinth,.... argh that Bog of Eternal Stench, it will kill those handsome locks Thorin has, which will also make him loose the capability of commanding the dwarves, and he looses.
But if we battle in Erebor,.... Jareth will constantly be juggling all the pretty jewels the dwarves have delft, which will leave Thorin such an advantage, he will just walk from one end to the other, have breakfast and second breakfast, battle a dragon and still be first on the other end.

Jareth wins.... his silliness would make Thorin angry [In reply to] Can't Post

and then Thorin would just attack without thought.

It all depends: [In reply to] Can't Post

It all depends ...

Would Thorin let Jareth rule him if he was offered his dreams?
Can Thorin remember his lines without looking at the script?

I can totally picture that. [In reply to] Can't Post

Jareth would act silly, and Thorin would become angry.
