John Callen (Oin) drops big TABA spoiler?

John Callen (Oin) drops big TABA spoiler?

Apologies if this was already posted elsewhere, but I thought it worthy of it's own thread. John posted this on his Facebook page:

"This was the end of the final shot for principal photography – I can remember it now and will remember it always. What a buzz. On Friday night when we wrapped the “Pick-ups” there was just one actor left on stage. The main unit finished a few moments ahead of us – Thorin’s last slash at Azog; then with the Splinter Unit Aiden Turner had to do one more take of his final shot, the final shot of the entire two and half years, three films. Mark Hadlow and I sat beside the monitor, the shot was done, we heard “Cut” and everyone waited, almost in silence, for PJ to review it. And then we knew it was over."

If he's correct, I suspect this confirms Azog will be killed by Thorin at the BoFA. I'm quite certain Jackson was shooting stuff for TABA last week and not DoS.

Well, that's disappointing [In reply to]

I was really hoping Azog would meet his end in film 2 (not a fan of the character). This makes me wonder what Bolg's role will be in the BOFA. If Azog is there, which of them is leading the orcs and goblins?

     BofA? [In reply to]

Is it really indicated that the action takes place at BofA?
