pdf for The One Ring - The Heart of the Wild available now Can't Post

The Heart of the Wild is a sourcebook for Cubicle 7's The One Ring role-playing game set in Tolkien's Middle-earth. A pdf of the product is available now; the physical product will be released in August with a free pdf bundle if purchased from the publisher. Details can be found at Cubicle 7's site.

As for myself, I will wait for the physical product and look forward to the announcement of its release date.

Thanks! [In reply to] Can't Post

I had no idea this game existed. Thanks to this post, I discovered a new pen & paper rpg, which I love. I play Pathfinder also, but I'm pleased to have found one based in Middle~Earth.

The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it.

You are most welcome! [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm glad to be of service. I've got my eye out for the physical release date of The Heart of the Wild and for news of The Darkening of Mirkwood campaign setting. I hope no one thinks that I have a financial agenda with hyping The One Ring; I am not in any way associated with Cubicle 7 or its partner Sophisticated Games.

I haven't played Pathfinder. Our regular campaign is second edition AD&D (using the Skills & Powers rules).

2nd Edition... [In reply to] Can't Post

...is the one I grew up with. I haven't played AD&D in a long time, btu I still have almost all of the 2nd Ed. books. Pathfinder is basically 3.5, but tweaked out for everything to be balanced perfectly. I love it.

Printed out the "Adventurer's Guide" and the "Loremaster's Guide" today (in full color) and put them each in a binder. They look awesome and I can't wait to read them and play!
