BEORN vs ATTACK TROLL

BEORN-Giant bear. A Fierce animal, stronger than the Troll. Unarmed, Unarmored, incredibly huge, with razor sharp claws and teeth.
ATTACK TROLL-Very big Troll. Much stronger and more powerfull than other trolls. Armored around the whole body. Carries a giant, spiked mace.
BOTH are placed on a flat plain and are forced to fight eachother. Who wins?

Well it depends how big Beorn will end up in the movies(I am assuming you mean the movie versions). Beorn is probably more agile than a troll. Beorn also went through Bolg's bodyguards and then Bolg himself. We aren't 100% sure what those bodyguards even are so I think I would take the more intellectual Beorn.

Even if the troll is stronger, Beorn could find a way to beat him, simply due to the fact that Beorn is somewhat more intelligent.

Beorn if enraged seemed to grow bigger than his normal bigness as per JRRT.
I think he was intended to be a sort of berserker.
