Extras casting for The Hobbit Can't Post

Alrighty then. Having done a brief scan of pertinent threads I just wanted to express my own interest in pursuing a bit role in the upcoming films. While I've the flexibility and freedom to commit time and energy, and enthusiasm in spades to put up with adverse conditions ( from working years in the mining industry long hours of work etc would hardly be a shock to the system) I guess the best thing to do would be to make contact with casting agencies in Wellington. Could anybody help with company names or such that I might be able to get the ball rolling? Would be much appreciated.
I don't suppose it would help me for casting people to know that I'm certainly not short of character in my face lol and sport a good crop of brown/blonde shaggy curly hair?

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauronís master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded b*****d with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

I remember looking up these links a while back ... [In reply to] Can't Post

... the casting credits for LOTR were named as ...

New Zealand: Liz Mullane IMDB http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0611943/ deatils of filmography ...
Australia: Ann Robinson IMDB http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0732379/ details of filmography ...

I looked at the website hit stats and Ann Robinson has had 117% jump since last week - and Liz Mullane is down 3% (but I dont know from what %) Wink

I have no idea if these same people are involved in any of the casting for the Hobbit + movies, and
I dont know if this is any help, but there 'ographies are a great read if nothing else!

Umm... [In reply to] Can't Post

Why a petition. Can't you just apply for a job like everyone else?

Thank you for the information on the casting agencies and such. For some reason, I didn't manage to find them by myself.
