The Desolation of Smaug Trailer REVISED Can't Post

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=db9cEV9kF5s

This is my slightly adjusted, and slightly more epic version of the trailer! You must get to the end...it is the best part.

Dat Ending [In reply to] Can't Post

i wished the trailer ended like that (but with real Smaug-talk ;) )

I loved that we saw Smaug, but i would'nt have cared if we only heard his voice and saw only a shadow or something.

Funny think now.. Beorn in human form is more secret than Smaug ;)

" Why, O people of Noldor! Fëanor cried. Why should we longer serve the jealous Valar, who cannot keep us nor even their own realm secure from their enemy? And though he be now their foe, are not they and he of one kin? Vengence calls me hence, but even were it otherwise I would not dwell longer in the same land with the kin of my father's slayer and of the thief of treasure. Yet i am not the only valiant in this valiant people. And have ye not all lost your King? And what else have ye not lost, cooped here in a narrow land between the mountains and the sea? Here once was light, that the Valar begrudged to middle-earth, but now dark levels all. Shall we mourn here deedless forever, a shadow-folk, mist-haunting, dropping vain tears in the thankless sea? Or shall we return to our home? In cuiviènen sweet ran the waters under uncloaded stars, and wide lands lay about, where a free people might walk. There they lie still and await us who in out folly forsook them. Come away! Let the cowards keep this city!"

The Voice [In reply to] Can't Post

Heh, very clever!

I was going to say something snarky about fan edits on YouTube. You changed my mind. Wink

But I'm a Trekkie, so I'm easily swayed here.

The revised DoS trailer is a Man of Steel spot? Oh, wait... [In reply to] Can't Post

that's an ad. Tongue Nice addition at the end...was really hoping/expecting to hear a bit of Smaug's voice in the teaser.

My Top 5 Wish List for "The Hobbit"
5. Legolas will surf down Smaug's neck
4. Bilbo will be revealed to a Robot
3. Naked PJ cameo as Ghan-Buri-Ghan
2. Use of not only 3D, but smell-o-vision, plus the inclusion of axes coming out of the seats and poking the audience when appropriate
1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!

Awesome XD [In reply to] Can't Post

...the only way it could have been better was if it had been dubbed over with "I have to x-ray these geese".

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing! Smile

"You are a very fine person, Mr. Baggins, and I am very fond of you; but you are only quite a little fellow in a wide world after all!" - Gandalf

Yeah, I loved Cabin Pressure. I have a lot of radio shows, but that one I listen to the most. And man, does Martin (Benedict Cumberbatch) say some hilarious things.

And now I'm going to another spoilery avatar ;)
