Thanks yet again Kel! [In reply to] Can't Post

An interesting interview with some different questions. And he values us fangirls!!!SlyHeart On a different note, it would have been interesting to be a fly on the wall in the competition between Steven Colbert and Philippa Boyens. RA very tactfully does not say what the score was!Wink

Awesome [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks Kel! Honestly I don't think we could have had a nicer Thorin cast.

Manwe, when asked a simple "Yes" or "No" question, contemplated, and responded "the middle one."

Can I just say [In reply to] Can't Post

I love this guy more and more with every new interview I read? He comes across as such a classy, down-to-earth, grounded, hard-working guy. I love the part where he's talking about what happens after all the excitement dies down after you get offered a role in movie: it's the "holy crap, what did I get myself into?" moment. In completely different contexts, I understand that feeling perfectly.

And I love the fact that he calls his most loyal fan base a group of very well-educated ladies. I wonder what's given him that impression? He seems the type to value brains over beauty. Smile

I admire and appreciate him more and more. Cripes... we're so lucky to have him as Thorin and in these films at all!

Thanks so much, Kel... this was wonderful!
