Entmooting going on... [In reply to] Can't Post

In Reply To

1. What did you think of the switching back and forth between the intense action scenes of Helm's Deep and the Ent-paced moments with Merry and Pippin? I felt like it emphasized the ancientness of the Ents. They have seen so much already - nothing is new to them.
2. If you first watched the films way back when they were first released, and you watch them again now, do you have the same or different opinion now as you did then of the Entmoot scenes and/or Helm's Deep and/or the way they were interwoven? I enjoy it more now. In the beginning I was too anxious for seeing the next parts at Helm's Deep. Now I enjoy all the little details more.
3. What does the contrast in settings and action (Helms Deep vs Entmoot) say about the overall battle to save Middle-earth? That is isn't just a Humanoid battle. Nature itself has to join in, to save itself; but its a force so many don't even understand!
4. Although Merry and Pippin don't look or act to us anything like Orcs, to the Ents there is a possibility they are little Orcs. What reason(s) would they have for thinking this? Fear about the harm Orcs have done, and afraid that they have taken other forms?

Thanks for viewing, and all comments are welcome, not limited to only the above questions Smile.Great caps Loresilme. I also like how Merry really stands up and shows his courage and conviction for his friends, even faced with such huge, imposing Ents who might not agree with him.

Manwe, when asked a simple "Yes" or "No" question, contemplated, and responded "the middle one."
