Completely confused Can't Post

I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'm completely confused as to which version of The Hobbit on DVD/Blu ray I should buy.

I Loved the extended editions of the three LOTR films, with the Tolkien backgrounds, documentaries on filming, the cast, Weta, and so on, with respect to each film as it came out. I still wtach them, and still love them.

Which, if any of the new versions, will give me the same level of depth and background, with interviews with the cast and crew and so on.

I've tried searching, read reviews on Amazon and so on and just end up confused.

Thanks, in advance
