Thrain DoS Can't Post

Thrain must be taken seriously. His character, whatever his part, must convey a sense of dignity, despite his madness.
This character does not need to be the buffoon caricature of his father. And i think it is apt that Gandalf or whoever finds him
does not patronize the dwarf. Any hint of demonstration that attempts to appeal to our sense of dwarvishness will be a distraction, i think.
The audience already has more than ten characters to remind us how dwarves are dwarvish. A dignified Dwarf, akin to Thorin would
be a nice supplement to the aura conjured by our motley band of Dwarves. Dwarves can be amusing, so be it; but, at the end of the day, they absolutely must
be believable. Time for DoS to prove it.
Anyone agree?
