summer [In reply to] Can't Post

I think PJ said along with some other movie this summer.

Perhaps Man of steel?

The first AUJ trailer was basically... [In reply to] Can't Post

... the teaser for the whole trilogy in terms of getting people to realize the films are coming.

We had a pretty early trailer for LotR as well, but the trailers for TTT and RotK came out much later.

But "Man of Steel" seems to be the bet of several people.

So Man of Steel is certainly possible.

Can't wait [In reply to] Can't Post

I really hope it's attached to Star Trek as well as Man of Steel.

I'd love it to be Star Trek but its likely Man of Steel [In reply to] Can't Post

Man of Steel is a big Warner Bros. release, a big IMAX release and 1 big 3D release. Star Trek only has two of those going for it.

But I'll happily be wrong as I'll be watching Star Trek in full, glorious, real IMAX on May 9th and the idea of seeing a Hobbit trailer beforehand is a brilliant one.

I thought the new star trek [In reply to] Can't Post

was in 3d?

I watched a trailer for it in IMAX 3D Unsure

And Iluvatar spoke to Ulmo, and said: 'Seest thou not how here in this little realm in the Deeps of Time Melkor hath made war upon thy province? He hath bethought him of bitter cold immoderate, and yet hath not destroyed the beauty of thy fountains, nor of my clear pools. Behold the snow, and the cunning work of frost! Melkor hath devised heats and fire without restraint, and hath not dried up thy desire nor utterly quelled the music of the sea. Behold rather the height and glory of the clouds, and the everchanging mists; and listen to the fall of rain upon the Earth! And in these clouds thou art drawn nearer to Manwe, thy friend, whom thou lovest.

I hope it will be before Star Trek as well [In reply to] Can't Post

As that is the first movie I will be seeing this summer, and it will be great to see a preview of the next Hobbit movie, along with seeing a film that Benedict Cumberbatch is in, (as he is in both movies.)

It is in IMAX 3D [In reply to] Can't Post

But it's not a Warners release - that's the one it was missing. Studios love tying their big trailers to their own films as a cross-promotional tool (hype feeds hype), Warners especially - first two Dark Knight Rises trailers came out with Harry Potter 8 and Sherlock Holmes 2; first two Man of Steel trailers came out with Dark Knight Rises and The Hobbit.

As I say though, I'd love to be wrong - only 18 days until I see Star Trek, a Hobbit trailer would be beyond incredible.
