split film Can't Post

so a point i picked up on is that PJ clearly says the second film will have multiple storylines, not one or two, mutiple! (on the dos sneak vid). So what do you think the main threads of the second film will be?.......

Will the elves have there own complete story arc which brings them redemption at bo5a..

Beorn..will he have a whole stroy line to himself?

White council...on a mission..

Dwarves+bilbo...obviously

lake town....2 here bard and master of

dale.....

smaug...motivation?!!!

thats quite alot of story going on!

oh i forgot also...necromance...nazgul....azog...bolg..dain..lol

I think [In reply to] Can't Post

you hit the nail right on the head, and then whatever is left of Azog maybe if he kicks the bucket in DOS. And Necromancer history stuff!

Laugh

We are more connected than ever before, more able to spread our ideas and beliefs, our anger and fears. As we exercise the right to advocate our views, and as we animate our supporters, we must all assume responsibility for our words and actions before they enter a vast echo chamber and reach those both serious and delirious, connected and unhinged.

Well I guess DoS is going to be half Thorin's company, half other characters [In reply to] Can't Post

Mainly Gandalf's story, but also we're definitely gonna get some non-Company scenes involving Thranduil and the Mirkwood Elves, the Laketown inhabitants and, probably, Azog again.

These scenes are gonna pad out the movie, for if they weren't there we could find Thorin and co.'s journey only taking 60-90 minutes, leaving things short!

I'd say Smaug will appear at the same point as Gollum in AUJ, with DoS's climax being a combination of him leaving to attack Laketown, some kind of invented battle with Thorin on the slopes of Erebor, as well as the White Council laying waste to Dol Guldur. All this will happen in a very TTT-like manner.

I mentioned last month that TTT and DoS might be similar [In reply to] Can't Post

It's looking like a more accurate theory now...

That does seem quite a lot... [In reply to] Can't Post

It would seem we are getting our money's worth in DoS. Let's just hope it is not too much, and that all this won't drown the most important story line: Bilbo.

book [In reply to] Can't Post

yeah, when you read the book, you dont get bogged down with everyones backstory, side plots, it sort of just flows as a journey of bilbos. if it was being filmed as more of a kids film, shouldnt the plot be less complicated! im 32 and know the book and im getting confused!

Harry Potter perhaps [In reply to] Can't Post

Harry Potter was more than six films building to a single conclusion. Although it wasn't filmed at once, I suppose that it somewhat fits the bill. I wouldn't say that it was much of a gamble though, given the popularity of the books.

Where is the vomit icon? [In reply to] Can't Post

Sorry but this is HORRIBLE. As if they haven't changed the story enough. Guess Tauriel didn't cast enough feminine energy into the film for Boyens. Either that or it is some awful late April Fools joke. Mad
