Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

Truly sad [In reply to] Can't Post

And by today's standards he didn't live to be old either.

I've never been a fan of Harry Potter personally, but I remember enjoying his character very much in the earlier films which I did watch. I also liked his brief but memorable cameo as King George in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean installment.

RIP, a sad day indeed.

I too enjoyed Pie in the Sky [In reply to] Can't Post

I enjoyed the storylines, but I also appreciated a bigger person having a lead role.

I thought Richard Griffiths was excellent - but when I also saw him as Uncle Vernon I realised just how good he was.

Fondly remembered on screen, sadly missed.

that every person has seen Withnail and I. More than once.
In fact, I demand that you see it!

Do watch it if you can [In reply to] Can't Post

It's a gently paced detective series that's very well acted.

Happy Easter to you!Smile

His guest starring role on Vicar of Dibley was a show stealer [In reply to] Can't Post

He was so incredibly quirky and very un-Dursley-like in a memorable and hilarious performance which proved how talented he was. Very sad.

I don't think I would have liked it [In reply to] Can't Post

when it originally screened on TV, but I have a feeling I would like it now. I will definitely check it out.
Happy Easter to you, too. Smile
I hope you are enjoying the amazing weather. I spent all day in the garden and it was lovely.
