Lady Dwarves in Dale. I saw two, at least. Can't Post

I looked for a thread dedicated to this and could not find one so here I go.

I saw two lady Dwarves in Dale during the very first ( very brief ) scenes of Dale.

If you have not noticed them yet..watch again. One lady dwarve has a brown gown on. The other lady is seen twice. The second time you can see her, she has a "tray" of goods she is selling. The tray is supported by what looks like a leather a strap which goes around her neck. Neither lady has a full beard. Both have what I perceive as "mutton chops" or fairly full "side burns". Ala..Ambrose Burnside like.

I hope this thread is not redundant.

I noticed them too! [In reply to] Can't Post

Just re-watched the movie again today and those two caught my eye, despite everything else that is going on during those scenes. Also, I think you can see more Dwarf-women among the crowd when everyone is feeling Erebor during Smaug's attack. I love how something new can be noticed on each viewing. Smile

Yes [In reply to] Can't Post

There are definitely a few female dwarves who are seen as merchants on the streets in Dale.
