With the recently coined Jedi Mind-meld sure to go down in history, I thought we might make a few, erm, interesting sayings of our own. Actually the idea for this thread originally came from a game called "Silly Proverbs" I saw on another site.
To play, all we have to do is finish each others' sentences in a novel way. The first poster starts with the first part of a common saying, such as "A bird in the hand..." the next poster finishes the phrase in the subject line, such as "is not very nice precious." Then in the body of their post they start a new phrase, and the next person finishes it, then starts another phrase... and so on.
Clear as mud? Okay I'll start and do the first reply just in case I haven't explained it well enough:
