Here goes a nonsensical random topic...
The first time I saw it I really expected the Arkenstone to have been more firmly attached to Thror's throne, so when it plopped out just like that I couldn't help but giggle. Also gave me another thought -- maybe Thror loved it so much he had it easily detachable so he could take it to bed every night?
