who would like to have this exprience (WHICH IS AWESOME) to put money aside every week and save up for it. There are only going to be 2 more of these parties, then they're most likely gone forever. Two more films, two more parties.
There are ways to save for this, too. Sharing a hotel room with at least one other person automatically cuts that cost in half. Plus, if you volunteer to work the Party (setting up, 2-hr shift during Party, and maybe tearing down afterwards) may get you a very VERY reasonable price on that ticket.
Seriously, give it a go. Maybe for There and Back Again in February 2015. You have plenty of time to save whatever you can and see what happens. I've been working a 2nd job since 2001 to save for TORn/Tolkien-related adventures and things. My budget is very tight, too :) But to never have the chance for at least one great adventure with TORn would make Gandalf shakes his head in disbelief!
