I can see the good people at Weta having some fun with all the weapons, helmets, shields and whatever else they can think of. Thorin's Company is going to be quite a sight to behold when they throw themselves into the fray.

Oh yes, lots of wine, definitely, and the good stuff, too, as that ages well. Maybe some other spirits? Special vintage pipe weed? That would be quite a party already 
Honey is supposed to keep forever. And is there any sort of cheese that could be kept that long (since Bombur eat that by the block...)?

It would be quite interesting to see Thranduil wearing/displaying it during the battle.
(As to how I got to this thought ... I was imagining Thorin forging some gold to put the Arkenstone in to. Not a totally random thought  )
