come back at some point in the next two films? Maybe to connect this blade to eventually stabbing Frodo at Weathertop? Seems like there's plenty of time for it to somehow fall back into the wrong hands, and make it's way back to the Witch King closer to LOTR. It would be pretty darn cool if this was true. Then we can really resonate with this blade after Frodo's stabbing. Also: a great shot of Aragorn holding it as it dissolveses from his touch. We are familiar with this blade. Just a shot in the dark.

We could assume that the Wise destroyed it after the council... Also, I believe it's 'a' morgul blade not 'the' morgul blade ( the nazgul surely had reserves) , would be surprised if somehow this particular blade returns to the WK's hands.
All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost, The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

More like a mass produced weapon with the evil spells woven into it. It was nice to see some tie-in to what we saw later. Minas Morgul had a bad reputation for a long time.
