Updates on Filming Locations
Can't Post
Information on filming locations continues to come out at the rate of a slow trickle. As in previous films, locations like Mount Sunday and others can be in very remote locations. Rationale noted in an article suggested that the production crews were less likely to have any problems. Kaihoka Station, Kaihoka, New Zealand Pretty. Remote. Private property. Braemar Station, Tekapo, New Zealand Confirmed in news articles as the site of the Warg Chase. One may lodge at Braemar Station. Pretty. Remote. Love it. Pass Burn, Mavora - Greenstone Walkway, New Zealand Again, quite remote. Have I mentioned how remote some of these places are? Sorting through a few more new ones, and I am working on pinning them with some accuracy. I think only true, devout Ringers are going to some of these locations.
