1.) What are your thoughts on the focus in this screencap? Obviously we're meant to be looking at Aragorn, but is there any special reason that Theoden and Co. slip in? How does it impact the visual? It's a nice placement of Aragorn in foreground and Théoden in background. Not only this, but that Théoden and his guards seem to be sternly looking forward at Aragorn. Interesting! Nice impact, us looking at a group of people looking at a person, looking at something off screen towards us 2.) How does this shot's framing reflect Aragorn and Theoden's relationship? I like this meaning indeed. Théoden is looking at Aragorn with possible bemusement, but also with a sense of pride of his own Rohirric Royal Heritage, as if he has to prove and maintain the royal character/appearance around Aragorn... seeing as Aragorn is the inheritor of the throne of Gondor.... ultimately the nation which Rohan owe allegiance to, and which the relationship has cooled/soured in the past decades/centuries. Therefore, it is difficult for Théoden with Aragorn, there are many implications implied by their relationship. Or perhaps I am taking a very cynical view 3.) Any other thoughts? Aragorn's pose is PRICELESS such a hilarious face
