Thought I'd make a thread for random and obscure observations and references if anyone wants to share some?
Mostly this is just to show off one that I picked up on - The chest in Bag End that Bilbo says "smells of troll" is the same chest that the dwarves bury for "investment" in the troll cave  I assume this means Bilbo will dig it up again on his way back!

I'm really looking forward to the "and Back Again" portion of TABA. Probably a very delicate period to portray (if they DO portray it), as it's in that still-pre-LOTR-but-after-TH-storyline phase. Hopefully we get to see a decent amount of this.
