Specifically ones that talk about the finished film rather than just about the filming and whatnot. Commentaries are generally good for this type of thing. Hopefully we have such great commentaries again!
There's a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall and the bells in the steeple, too. And up in the nursery an absurd little bird is popping out to say coo-coo (coo-coo, coo-coo).

For people like me that while still having them on computer would love to have super nice hd ones built for tv. I don't know if ill watch the, a ton but I will watch them again. Probably when I get the BR to be honest and especially the comic-con one since I was there for that. I expect the EE to have even more but I'm glad to get these with the TE. I go back and watch some of the lotr stuff and especially the docs on the EE once in a while just to go back for the sole reason I love the material. I expect I'll do that with The Hobbit.

I don't care to hook my Mac up to my tv. Much easier and better hq quality just putting a disc in.

Besides being able to watch AUJ multiple times (which unlike FOTR I was only able to see once in the theater), I found that the theatrical edition cases made excellent travel cases for the much larger EE releases. So.... when you want to pack up your EE treasures, you can leave the nice cases at home

I am hoping the EE will change the flow of the film adding in more character moments which they felt had to be cut for the super important action scenes like the stone giants , lol. I think by then i will be ready to watch the film again and get hyped up for DOS. Not to mention all the extra stuff the EE has that this wont.

All the links are inoperable, and Amazon has nothing about it yet.

I loved the TE. It worked very very well for me on so many levels. While I think it was at least a 9/10 I think the EE will be even better. Ill be owning both for sure.

Even though it comes up in the search box it doesn't exist. Gave up. No information at all so I tried mall FYE and they were just taking preorders, so I'm picking up in person.

I'm looking forward to it, but I am rather surprised. Isn't March 19 too soon? I was expecting April.

However, the average is 120 days so its not terribly early as far as that goes. Plus you have a EE version later in the year so you've got to have space between all three.
