Poem -- "Return of the King"

My sword glowed blue some frightful nights There's a time for dying - and there's a time for a fight!" My blade was my brother - The Orcs felt it's Sting Of all my adventures... many will sing But I can't take much credit to tell you the truth I'm not being modest, my finger is proof! My mind keeps coming back to ponder one thing... Was it free will or fate that returned The King?

THE RETURN OF SAURON: There is no waiting outside space and time. There is no cruelty to great that I consider a crime. I have been slain -- more than two times before! Death is for me - not a wall - but a door! The Valar should know - I will come back for more. And come back I shall - to settle the score. I've ruled the Elves - And I've ruled your Kings I've ruled Middle Earth. And I forged the one ring. There is no death. No time for me. The Valar have eyes - but they do not see. Your hero was Gollum - Not a man or a King. You Celebrate now... You dance.... And you sing... As Morgoth is my witness - I will forge another ring! I know your kind. Your history will fade. I will give men all they want - and their soul they will trade My power grows stronger - along side Morgoth's rage. Eons will pass...Man will turn the next page. For I, Sauron, will return, to rule another age!

I am always jealous of you screenwriters and writers in general. Always so clever! I loved the line . . . Your hero was Gollum - Not a man or a King. I can so see Sauron saying this. Tolkien's evil almost always was concerned with deceit and sowing despair. That line reminds me a little of the stuff Sauron said in the song-battle between himself and Finrod.
Don't be hasty.
