The Pale Warg. . . a nod to Draugluin???

That old wicked Maiar in Wolf/Warg form, that father of werewolves. I hadn't thought to connect the two (different genders among other things), but in perusing The Lay of Luthien, I saw again lines concerning Draugluin, the Pale Father of Werewolves. The pale aspect stood out as it hadn't before. Pale grey, perhaps, but gray only gets so pale before becoming a dingy white. It may be that no such thought went into this warg alpha female. Perhaps just a white warg for a big, white orc. Yet, it maybe that the film team thought to make a clever tip of the hat to that old horror, most dreadful of the werewolves and wargs to issue from Angband's gates ere the weaning of Carcaroth. Perhaps she meant to be a distant daughter of the line of The Father of Werewolves, in much the the spiders are spawn of Ungoliante. They don't have the rights to use Dragluin's name perhaps. . . but the pale fur and glowing eyes may be a hint at his likeness.
"Hear me, hounds of Sauron, Gandalf is here! Fly if you value your foul skins, I will shrivel you from tail to snout if you step within this circle!" "Do not be to eager to deal out death in judgement. Even the very wise cannot see all ends."
