We're planning to moot up at the historic Cat N' Fiddle Pub on Sunset Boulevard (http://www.thecatandfiddle.com/) for an afternoon of reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Both the Brunch and regular menus will be available. Please RSVP ASAP (and please make it a *real* RSVP, not a "Facebook: Where Yes is the New Maybe" RSVP ) because we need to know what kind of numbers we're looking at! If at all possible, please RSVP on the Facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/events/517272974962535/

I feel your pain! You know we're having another Oscar viewing party "on the cheap" on Sunday, too, right? A bunch of us locals are getting together at the Glendale Moose Lodge to get dressed up, watch the show, and make fun of Red Carpet fashion! It's a potluck, cash bar, and we're only asking for a $5 donation to the Moose. http://www.facebook.com/events/124805827683286/

Just in case anyone missed the news, the "alternative" Oscar Party at the Glendale Moose Lodge has been cancelled because the venue was shut down. Alas, my dreams of decorating the giant moose head over the bar with a Thranduil crown will have to be shelved (for now...). But the Pub Moot at the Cat & Fiddle is still happening on Saturday afternoon! Hope to see y'all there! http://www.facebook.com/events/517272974962535/
