My hopes for the Extended Edition Can't Post

So in the Hobbit Chronicles book it's been established that "The Old Took's Party" was filmed and presumably will be included in the AUJ EE. I hope that, so as to be consistent with the LOTR films, that Bilbo's Tookish relatives speak with a Scottish accent (I think it is a Scottish accent, anyway) like Billy Boyd's Pippin did in LOTR.

Perhaps it is me being extremely nit picky, and I suppose a lack of Scottish accents could be explained away logically somehow, but I think it would be neat if the Tooks all spoke with an accent.

That's just me, has anyone else thought of this?

The accent geography of Peter Jackson's Middle Earth has been messed up big time by the Hobbit films. Hamfast of Gamwich Send a private message to Hamfast of Gamwich Jan 11 2013, 7:15pm
