Ha! [In reply to] Can't Post

Yes, I can see Thorin being as charmingly smug as Ironman!

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauronís master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

Bwwwaaaa haaaa haaaa.. that's good.... [In reply to] Can't Post

I loved both films. I've spent some time running around with Viking age reinactors so I have a dabbling in Norse myth too. Quite fond of Thor before I knew he was a comic character.

OK, THORin is kind of necessary... although Thor has a better sense of humor. Their Smouldering Hotness and Majesty is pretty equal. Mjolnir vs Orcrist... hmmm... it's Glamdring that is called FoeHAMMER.

Thor would also make a ridiculously cool Kili... er... Fili... uh... Point Break, not Smouldering Dark One.

The Gandafury, yes, definitely. Samuel L. Jackson is perhaps the only other person who could be a convincing Gandalf... after all, he was a Jedi Master.

I do believe that's Cap as Bilbo... that works. The Pure Hearted Hero.

LokiSauron, naturally.

It clearly is harder to cross Ironman and Thranduil's appearance, though they have much the same personality.

totally awesome!

On the Avengers DVD, there is a comment that "these are people who should not be in the same room together, much less on the same team..." much like a certain band of Dwarves and a Hobbit.

Go outside and play...
