Thrain the second in DoS?

There was confirmation from Phillipa Boyens, saying that what they had filmed was great and were originally going to put it in the first but moved it to the second. This, will obviously be a flashback, I assume much like tha azog flashback in AUJ. Also, on the lotr wiki, on thrain the 2nds page, they have an image from the Very first trailer of the hobbit, of apparently a crazed thrain attacking gandalf in dol guldur. Remember we saw gandalf being attacked by that strange person in the first trailer? Yeah, that's thrain. If so, this is proof that that it was originally supposed to be in the first movie, but got pushed back. I know that thrain will appear in a flashback sometime in the trilogy, but what are your thoughts on him attacking gandalf. Look at the photo yourself on thrain the 2nds page, and let me know what you think.

From the first moment I realized this was Thrain my imagination started running. Also, we know from photos that Bolg is present in Dol Guldur so perhaps we will see him in this sequence as well? Also, I heard once (don't quote me) that the "Gandalf in Dol Guldur" sequence was to take place while the Dwarves are in Goblin Town. Perhaps Bolg and Gandalf have an exchange as well, where he mocks Gandalf because Azog is hot on the dwarves tails. Hence Gandalf's sudden rescue. Theories, of course. What I wouldn't give to sit down with PJ to see what the rough cut of this film looked like before the trilogy split.

I think it has been confirmed that the thrain and gandalf encounter was told via a flashback. I find it cool that thrain is so insane he does not even recognize gandalf! The torture scenes are supposed to be quite dark and graphic too, which Is always good!
