Elvish question Can't Post

Okay so here's a quick question:Can anyone tell me what Mae Esten means? I hear it in "Fellowship" but don't know what they are saying.
Thanks for your help! Smile

Ah, I think you're referring to [In reply to] Can't Post

Aragorn's conversation with Arwen just before she rides off with Frodo to the Ford of Bruinen. Aragorn's last phrase isn't subtitled. The confusion is that it isn't "mae esten", it's "be iest lin".

arwen: Frodo fr. Ae athradon i hr, tr gwaith nn beriatha hon.

Frodo dies. If I get across the river, the power of my people will protect him.

aragorn: Be iest ln.

According to your wish.

You can find translations for all the Elvish in the LOTR movies here.
