Back from world premiers, William Kircher (Bifur) got news that he has won a role as a villain in a US movie; while Manu Bennett (Azog) will be appearing in a US superhero drama Arrow, based on the Green Arrow comics. Good for them! The full story is here.
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. I always thought Kircher came across a cool guy in the production vlogs, so its good to see him land a large role like this. I felt we didn't get to see a lot of Bifur (and some of the other dwarves) in AUJ I can only really remember his introduction with Gandalf. Good to see Bennett is also doing well. I liked his performance as Azog and he's also been great in the Sparticus series, so I'm looking forward to his appearance in Arrow.
Yes, my username is terrible.

It's a timely Christmas present for both William and Manu whose performances in The Hobbit was really good. I am sure both actors have welcomed the news with open arms.
