I just downloaded a neat little iBook--"The Craft of the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." It was made for the film's awards campaign. I haven't had a chance to read it all yet, but there are in-depth sections for each of the major technical awards. There are also interviews and film clips embedded in the book. http://www.fxguide.com/...ge-ibook-by-fxguide/

Got no iPad, but downloaded it and extracted the videos with archiver software. They are even more important than the book itself. Amazing production footage.

Thanks for posting! It really is an interesting book - little interactive bits here and there - can't believe it was free!
