I need some help with WETA's Hobbit book...

I'm trying to distinguish between these two Hobbit Chronicles books... The more expensive one... ... and the less expensive one. I want to get the authentic one that WETA has put out, and not some cheap copy from a secondary publisher. (I know that from experience that the quality of the product you receive depends on the publishing company.) Can anyone tell me which of these matches the WETA one ? I've checked both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk, but they have both copies, so they're not much help.

is terrible about using the same thunbnail for different books. You have to go by the title and descriptions, if they have a look inside feature for the title use that as well to verify its the one you want. But according to the Title they are not the same book.

I went to Wikipedia to figure out the info encoded in the ISBNs and it seems to me they are imprints from two different divisions of HarperCollins. One may have been printed in the US and the other in the UK, for example. As best I can determine, the publisher codes from these two ISBNs are '00' and '06'. I see that one of the Amazon listings has customer images posted (978-0062200907). You could try asking him about the one that he has. Make sure he confirms it as the same ISBN. Good luck and let us know what you discover.

...and the copy they sent has the ISBN 978 0 00 748733 2 if that helps. It has 208 pages with a fold-out of Thorin's map in the front and a fold-out of Bilbo's contract in the back. It seems odd that Amazon advertise a version with more pages. But the book was first announced before the three-film split - as the final chapters of the book relate to places/scenes I wonder if there were originally to be sections on Beorn's house and Mirkwood which were taken out and held in reserve for the next film, and Amazon haven't altered their page
