We're playing hooky from work and school, respectively. Bought the twins Fili and Kili shirts, and my youngest is wearing Thorin. I'll be in a Lonely Mountain t-shirt, most likely.

I cannot have any distractions, midday weekday showing on Thursday so as to minimize the amount of other folk at the screening :)

Playing hooky... from work? how dare you!? Did I mention that I'm playing hooky too? So are my dad and brother... We're also catching a matinee on Friday (midnight showing with a 3 year old and 15 month old at home just isn't working out)! The kids are still going to a babysitter, though.

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle.

We are eight persons who are going to see the film together, but not until the 20th. Joining me is my husband, four friends and two of our neighbours. My husband and two of my friends appreciate Tolkien and/or fantasy films very much and I´ve got the impression our neighbours do as well, since they´ve named one of their dogs after Bilbo.

We saw all three LOTR movies together, and even though we have to wait until Christmas week to see the movies, we love seeing them for the first time together.

Then when my daughter gets a day off with her as well
Arthur: What manner of man are you that can summon up fire without flint or tinder? Tim: I... am an enchanter. Arthur: By what name are you known? Tim: There are some who call me... 'Tim'...? Arthur: ...greetings, Tim the Enchanter.

My 4-year-old daughter does not want to see it. Breaks my heart. She wants to see a "princess" movie. I feel like I have raised her wrong or something.
