I hope when the WB execs dragged Jackson out of the editing booth on delivery day, they used that line.

-Tim came by. Tim! If you had heard only a quarter of what I have heard about him, and I have only heard very little of all there is to hear, you would be prepared for any sort of remarkable tale.

I like how they're playing up the RitD more and more in recent spots. Gollum was pretty creepy...something he never was for my in the original movie trilogy! Which is, funnily enough, in line with the book :) hurrah for scary Gollum!

...is that it's straight up cannibalism. We all know Gollum used to be a hobbit 600 years earlier. This is the scene that will either make or break the movie for me but it's looking really good.

That DOES make it even creepier. I'm watching TT right now (watching each EE once for entertainment, ove with commentary in the next two weeks) and I think it will be really neat to see Gollum go from a scary, almost "monster" in The Hobbit to a sympathetic character in TT who wants to free himself of his inner demons. And then become a psychopath all over again with RotK. I won't be the tool to say "the whole series has really been about Gollum!" but it will be neat to have a character who really develops across 2 trilogies, alongside Bilbo and Gandalf.

It may be the editing, but this version of the "Then we eats it!" line looks to be a different rendition/ composition than the previous spots/trailers. N/T/

It's very similar to a previous TV spot. Don't ask which one - they've all merged into one in my head.
