Gandalf vs Ambassador Kosh

There is that very, very obvious (to us) LotR reference in Babylon 5, where the home planet of the Shadows - the main baddies - is called Z'ha'dum. I am quite amused by the resulting parallel between the deaths of Gandalf and Ambassador Kosh: The former being killed by a shadowy being in Khazad-dûm, the latter by a shadowy being from Z'ha'dum. But who of them would win in a battle? (I'm not talking a clothing styles competition here, we know who would win that. Hint: Not the guy who wears a shower curtain with a toilet seat on top.)
