A fortnight more of waiting

A fortnight more of waiting Can't Post

Two weeks! It's so exciting!

"A fortnight!" said Frodo, "A lot may happen in that time."...
"It may," said Strider.

- Somewhere in FOTR (from memory since I'm lazy).

(Some spoilers from recent spots below if your concerned including some new character development.)

So will you keep pushing forward through all the spoilers? I think it's becoming too much. I mean, we've seen as much of Smaug as we will in the movie (more or less), and we've seen some moments that will surely be high points in the movie such as Thorin embracing Bilbo. I already feel like I've seen to much (even though I haven't seen that one yet) and think about what more might be coming. It's only two weeks to wait and might be worth it just to see it on the big screen with the whole movie.

Anyway, it's up to you of course, and I don't think this really needed a thread. I made this thread more because I just wanted to celebrate the fact that it's only two weeks away! We're almost there TORnadoes!

December 3rd is my limit [In reply to] Can't Post

I'll read one good review (but not spoilers), and then banish from the internets till the morning of the 15th. That's my plan, anyway Wink

And I've already avoided a few things, such as seeing Smaug.

Staying the course [In reply to] Can't Post

I've watched all the trailers and tv spots along with reading the movie-tie in books. I will watch any trailer or tv spot that comes out and probably a review or two.

I thought this was a fitting thread to post this in. SPOILERS obviously (albeit minor) [In reply to] Can't Post

Asked someone who had seen the movie about Smaug, Thranduil, the battle of Azanulbizar and the trolls. This is what that person had to say:

oooh. q1. about 5% or less. you see his tail and not telling. q2 he is near the beginning. and not too much but enough. q3 huge battle as a flashback. was my favorite part :) q4 a bit of both.. also i wont give it away.

I think gandalf had some awesome parts. I am very much hoping the version i saw was a rough cut as the beginning was very dry and slow. also .. see it in 48fps if you can... its the best 3d ive seen. .comfortable, easy to watch. :) you can tell they have split it as there are bits missing. but it was a good progression upwards. gollum was muuuuuch better. definitely can tell he was worked on more.

Sounds like a very good plan [In reply to] Can't Post

But will there be reviews without spoilers?
