Another little poem: My Tolkien Spaceflight

Nothing special, just another quick little poem for relaxation.
MY TOLKIEN SPACEFLIGHT
I only took
A Tolkien book
When I went off to Mars.
A lengthy trip
My rocket ship
Was hurtling to the stars.
With shining light
So pretty bright
A UFO came by.
From it there waved
A badly shaved
Alien monster guy.
He came toward
My ship to board
And yelled right in my face:
"I'll take you and
Experiment
'Cause you are lower race!"
I made him look
At Tolkien's book
And he was much surprised.
So he did cry
With tear in eye:
"My plans are now revised!"
"You're obvious
A genius
And highly cultured tribe!
Now let's have sense
And be best friends!
And may I try that 'pipe'?"
So we embraced
And off he raced.
Hope everyone now sees:
You only need
A Tolkien read
For interstellar peace.
