LOVE the hatred in Thorin's eyes when the Goblin King (I assume) is mocking him.

Not just you [In reply to] Can't Post

It seems Orcrist now has a bluish glow in general, (most obvious when cutting through the orc neck) and along the scroll in particular. Not to get our hopes up or anything.

I already love the design of Erebor [In reply to] Can't Post

The colours and the dwarven arcitecture is distinct enough from Moria, to make it a different experience!

And that screen shot of Thorin outside a mountain with Towers on it's side! Yummy!

Dwarves all the way!

Big spoiler in one of the pictures! [In reply to] Can't Post

Looks like Bilbo gets to kill and Orc in AUJ.

You can see this on that shot (which seems to be a continuation of this shot).

Not sure if I like that. Bilbo's first big moment should have been with the spiders, in my opinion.

I understand why they did that (he needs to do something "heroic" by the end of the first film), but I wished it didn't involve killing an Orc

Young Balin with young Thorin?.... [In reply to] Can't Post

Pic 84 or 85 or 86 (can't remember which), has what looks like to be a young Balin (both in facial apearance and clothing), and a youngish Thorin...

Looks like they're standing behind the rampart of a greenish castle... ??????? Crazy

Perhaps the attack of Smaug?

Could that be the same bridge... [In reply to] Can't Post

...the dwarves are crossing on the first scroll? The two bridges seem to differ slightly in shape, but no so much that I'd rule it out; Might be the bridge to Thranduil's Kingdom?

Yep, you can see a lot more of Ken Stott in there as this young incarnation [In reply to] Can't Post

Though do we buy Thorin as being much younger?

The best Thorin's ever looked is that menacing glare he's giving (we can assume...?) the Great Goblin. All the Goblin Town material looks like the stuff of fantasy fans' dreams, and so it should!

That Bilbo being blurred in this shot kind of ruins it, and makes it obvious that it isn't real?
