Lord of the Rings Extended Edition Film-Only Blu-ray Target Exclusives Available Can't Post

For those who want to get the extended cuts of the trilogy on Blu-ray without repurchasing all the DVD extras, Target is now offering exclusive 2-disc sets in stores.

See this thread on Blu-ray.com (scroll down to see pictures):

"All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds awake to find that it was vanity; But the dreamers of day are dangerous men. That they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it possible."
- T.E. Lawrence

I just got my copy. [In reply to] Can't Post

I finally saw the green tint for myself. It's definitely there and more noticeable in certain scenes than others, like people have said.

It's a shame that it had the biggest affect (at least in my opinion) on the Shire scenes. Especially because you can tell that they did some nice new color grading in some of those scenes (I especially like the enhanced warm/golden glow the early scene with Bilbo writing his book has now, it really matches up well with the look of the Hobbit) but it's all covered up with that green tint.

It doesn't ruin the movie for me. It still looks great overall, and I'm obsessing over all of the details that I've never really noticed before in the background of a lot of shots. It was worth the ten dollars, but I'm hoping that somewhere along the line they'll finally release a fixed version.
