I don't see any evidence of this in the trailer, will we see animals talking and trolls talking? Thanks!

So that Gandalf throws his voice and delays their Meal. Birds need to talk so The Thrush aids Bard.

Yes, IF they keep these parts in from the book. They may not- what I';m saying is do we have proof from the trailer or TV spots that it's likely to go the way that you think it will? Why so certain Bombadil, of this, are you? (I tried)

Link to international trailer, with Trolls speaking. Quote from Dec 2012 Empire Hobbit special:
"The spiders will speak more as a psychic communication", adds Jackson of Mirkwood's nest of arachnids (now in film two). "Only Bilbo hears them." And at some point, it was confirmed the Wargs will speak in their own wolfish language.

In an alternate universe somewhere, The Hobbit came out today and it included the talking purse! You're telling everyone "Told ya so".

As long as only purses talk. I wouldn't want a talking fridge, or talking toilet paper. It could get messy ...

According to Empire, the spiders don't talk in English, but Bilbo understands what they are saying because of the Ring. The trolls just plain talk regularly, while the wargs apparently have a rudimentary growling language written for them, if I remember some references correctly.

doesn't speak English in the book. Bard understands thrush-language. Given how elvish has been debt with, I think it most likely the thrush will get subtitles. Beorn's servants don't speak. It's been confirmed that wargs will only speak wargish in the movie.

But they walk on their hindlegs and serve food with their paws/hoofs. By far my least favourite scene in the books. I don't like creepy servant animals.

I can't imagine they'd have two similar characters (loners) with animal servants.

and I'm glad I'm not the ONLY person who thought it was weird. Although I liked Beorn, the part about the animals was neither enchanting nor amusing, it was just strange, in my opinion.
You'll see that in every contract. It's called a "sanity clause". Ha-ha. You can't fool me. There ain't no Sanity Claus.
