PLEASE make shirts for women too!!!

I was extremely excited to see the May The Dwarves Be With You shirt as I am a huge fan of both Star Wars and LOTR, and was equally devastated to find out that the shirt is only being made for men. I don't know about my fellow ladies here, but I don't have a single LOTR themed shirt, or many other geeky things, because they just don't make them for us. Every once in awhile an ignorant male will say "just wear a men's small", but if you haven't realized, women are NOT shaped like men and we want to show our geek pride too! And men, don't we just look better in stuff that fits us properly? Please, if you would like to see the new shirt plus other shirts from TORn made for us ladies please speak up here and maybe we'll be lucky and they'll consider having some made. :) If nothing else, maybe they could put it on CafePress so we could order some.

...wear a man's XXL? Whatever your shape be, it will fit under there. You can then use duct tape or belts to strap it to your shape, if it is too baggy. Alternatively, you could buy a man's one, cut the logo thingie out and sew it onto one of your woman's shirts. Or even better, take a pumpkin (they are on sale now that Halloween is over), cut out the logo thingie, put a light source into it and stand in front of it. The logo will be projected onto your body! All the men will envy you, because the printed logos on their shirts do not glow. Or even more better, you could do it like me. Become a prophet, forsake all worldly goods and human pride and only wear a bedsheet with holes in it.

The best way to convey this information to the people who need to hear it...

...is by using the 'Contact Us' form - find the link in the left navigation frame. Or email: spymaster (at) theonering (dot) net But keep in mind, a lot of staffers are in route to NZ for the Hobbit premiere. So if you don't hear back or see proof that your suggestion was heard - you might want to send it off again after that hubbub dies down. :-) And there's nothing wrong with everyone who wants a female shaped shirt to sending a message via 'contact us' or 'spymaster'. follow up thought: a Tweet or Facebook message might have some impact - there is some possibility that people involved with the shirts will see those - I just know the chance of them seeing a message on the boards is small.

They've released a great Hobbit map t-shirt - in men's cut. If there was a woman's cut I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. I think I did send an email when the shirts first were posted, and I sent one today on Facebook. Tonight staffers posted not to send messages on FB but rather through email. I figured if enough people wrote in at the boards we could send them a link to the thread. I'll try emailing again as you suggested.

Movie t shirts, band t shirts, you hardly ever find them in a flattering girl fit. Baggy t shirts don't suit me, they make me look shapeless. I would love a good Hobbit t shirt!
