i was thinking of this bit form "song of the lonely mountain"

the arkenstone
what was stolen
must be returned
in the book we know nothing of the arkenstone til after smaug is killed which presumably wont be happening until the climax of film 2
does this mean there will be more empahisis on it in the trilogy or at least an added hint in AUJ since its in the AUJ song?
