OH, it's self serve by now. Well, that's good. I'll grab some coke (a cola, people!!) and add some rum and sip and gaze at MY MAP!! As Nerdanel says below, thanks for being so wonderful that we were forced to find a way to do something special for you which then ended up being so much FUN for us, too. I called home and no Map yet. But something else arrived that I'm very excited about. I'll say more about that probably the fiesta after next. :-) So a nice virtual champagne is in order I think. Woot!

Needs the double p or the a gets long, doesn't it? No mappies, sounds like nappies. And mappos sounds kind of insulting. Actually I'm thinking mapings or mapingas is probably best because of the Old English thing.

Sorry, I came into Fiesta then got busy and work and had to duck out again. Always more things coming up with the houses. So much to do, so little time. And lately so little money too. How are you and the family?

Well, I just thought I would come in and raid the fridge. *Pokes around for leftovers and such.* I wish I could read through all these posts, but there's just too many. What a wonderful problem to have. Anyway, I hope each and every one of you has a fantabulous weekend. I'll just grab some honey roasted peanuts and a Diet Coke with lime before I dash off...

It's the Second Annual Reunion Fiesta - getting all the "old" sibs to pop in for a drink, and encouraging the "newbies"! There's plenty of nibbles behind the bar, there. I keep popping in to look, while baking Swedish Braids and blueberry-banana bread for our church fair tomorrow. We won't be able to attend it, alas - my mom-in-law's 75th birthday is also tomorrow, and we're having a family reunion in Massachusetts in her honor! But I'm most glad to see you're hale and hearty, and surviving! Be sure to let us know, which number Map you got!

Sorry I couldn't respond, but I was at work and didn't want to push my luck TORn-hopping during work time. I just couldn't resist taking a couple of minutes to share my good fortune. I have to tell ya... it's been moidah keeping this secret, especially from my parents. They were overseas for the past six weeks and I had to endure countless long-distance lectures and rants about my employment status (or lack thereof) while all the while biting my tongue about the truth. The cat was let out of the bag Tuesday morning when I got up to go to work at 6 am (they know I don't otherwise leave my bed before 10 otherwise). I'm happy I'm where I am, but I'm still a little skittish. I keep thinking this is way too good to be true and I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. But I'm learning to just take it one step at a time, one moment, one day at a time and just focus on doing the work and doing the best I can and just hoping for the best and keeping as optimistic view as I can. Well, at least I know one thing to be true, anyway... Santa came a little early this year and the gift he brought was a heckuva whopper!

Hmm...now I wonder just what that could be...is it crunchably scrumptuous? Well, let's see: when I was really little, and Mom and I were waiting for the bus to come, she'd have me say "Here, bussy, bussy, bussy", so maybe we can say "Here, mappy, mappy, mappy..." Uh, no? TTT!
