I still haven't seen one yet. I'm sure it will take me by surprise though when I do finally see one on TV.

And we here.. have seen so many..but It had Bilbo fainting..so I'm guessing it as spot One.
Seems that they may run a sequence throughout Thanksgiving Day..
That's just a guess.
Since it such a Family gathering Holiday I wouldn't doubt there will be one or More during the Famous Macy's TDay parade.

Yeah!.."There is a Storm brewing in the East"
and it's called The Hobbit..Storming Cinemas worldwide soon!!!

I saw the one during the Steelers vs Ravens game [In reply to] Can't Post

I cried tears of joy :)

"'Ai! ai!' wailed Legolas. 'A Balrog! A Balrog is come!'
Gimli stared with wide eyes. 'Durin's Bane!' he cried, and letting his axe fall he covered his face.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand. What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.''

I saw it too! [In reply to] Can't Post

But I didn't cry. Wink It was the real fast paced action drums beating one where you can hardly see something before the next shot comes in. Still cool to see Hobbit on tv though!

Interesting [In reply to] Can't Post

I'd like that! Smile

But Santa's name this year should be Radagast.

After the time of the Hobbit (or during it) the brown wizard was killed off, then sent back to earth ages later as "Radagast the Red", who lived on the North Pole. There he cleaned his beard and found some elves and got rid of his bunnies in exchange for deer. The elves made toys, Radagast delivered them and the children named him Santa Clause. Bingo! I'm betting that this will be a subplot in film 3 of the Hobbit. Laugh

I think they're actually hobbits [In reply to] Can't Post

The pointed ears throw people off, and so they are called elves by people around the world.

Why are the hobbits there? Well when news of Radagast, in his castle at the North Pole (with nice furniture and lots of food) came to the Hobbits, they decided to journey to the North Pole through the icy cold of the Arctic. They were getting very annoyed by the invasions of the Big Folk, and they figured that they're ancestors' experience in the long winter would certainly help them on their journey. So they packed they're bags and journeyed to the North Pole where they became the official workers for Radagast (aka Santa).

I think this could be a film in itself...or a trilogy. Tongue

As we all know that Father Christmas existed way before Coca Cola got their hands on Sinter Klaas...see this Victorian Christmas card:

I haven't seen one yet [In reply to] Can't Post

But hoping to see one soon by chance. I just wonder how because I don't watch much TV except for BBC America, and that's only sometimes, because Top Gear is the only show I really watch on there (occasionally I watch Ramsey.) Maybe I'll catch it during Thanksgiving? I know I will be so excited when I see the preview.
