1. ROTK: Aragorn sees Arwen in the Palantir
2. ROTK: Legolas makes friends with Gimli (finally) outside the Black Gate
3. ROTK: Sam hesitates to give the ring back to Frodo in Cirith Ungol
4. FOTR: Galadriel with Frodo at the Mirror in Lorien
5. FOTR: Gandalf at Bag End
6. FOTR: Bilbo (aka Judi Dench's mother, for those who have listened to the commentaries  ) nearly going medieval on Frodo at Rivendell
7. TTT: "Break the dam!" Saruman watches his efforts go down the drain
8. FOTR: Boromir with the Shards of Narsil in Rivendell
Bonus: 1. Strider's sword (This could be a promotional pic, but it could be a still from FOTR at the part where Frodo rolled down the mountain and lost the ring. Aragorn was at a ready to fight Boromir if he hadn't returned the ring to Frodo)
2. Pippin's leaf brooch dropped at the beginning of TTT

4) Galadriel after Frodo offers her the One Ring: "I have passed the test."
5) Gandalf in Minas Tirith after researching Isuldur's account of the One Ring. "A secret now that only fire can tell."
6) Bilbo in Rivendell wanting the ring back from Frodo, to put it mildly.
7) Saruman watching the Ents break the dam.
8) Boromir in Rivendell with the shards of Narsil. "Still sharp."
Objects:
A) Aragorn's sword pommel (Caradhras). Frodo has fallen and dropped the ring. Boromir picks it up and Aragorn is at the ready with his sword.
B) Pippin's elven brooch that he "dropped" in Rohan.
Everyone did quite well. The only one that no one correctly identified was the scene for 5).
And our winner is... wendy woo with a most excellent score of 15/16 and 2/2. Your prize? Three free scuba diving lessons in the Long Lake. Woo hoo!
A close second was Bombadil, 15/16 and 1/2. A lightly used set of Ginsu knives or you can trade DanielLB for his airboat ride across the Dead Marshes. You may claim your prize at the Will Call window in the Prancing Pony.
