Fandango mp3 [In reply to] Can't Post

I preordered tickets today on Fandango. Shouldn't I receive this mp3 as a free download? Haven't received anything yet.

So good!! [In reply to] Can't Post

Thank you for posting this, my Fandango download is not co-operating at all!

This track is SO GOOD. It's the old that I love so much, mixed with some new that I can't wait *to* love! A perfect balance!

Absolutely Terrific [In reply to] Can't Post

Shore's totally on top of his game with this score.

Seems crazy to me how quickly someone can score a movie... [In reply to] Can't Post

Was worried it might sound rushed (I don't know how long movies usually take to score?), but it sounds really great.

I try hard to listen to Music [In reply to] Can't Post

With my Eyes closed
So my" Mind's Eye"
can produce the Movie....

Seems Bilbo ...lets his Tookish side... Takeover
Scampered though the Shire
and Lovenly..
Looks back to BagEnd
at his Former life....

I was crying
hearing this
in my Mind's Eye.

This couldn't be better as a musical representation of what (we can guess) happens here [In reply to] Can't Post

Howard Shore must, every day, thank his lucky stars that the 'Shire/Hobbit' theme came into his head when it did!

WaterTower Music tweet: [In reply to] Can't Post

Who is ready to start hearing #music from #TheHobbit? keep your eyes open as next week we have a lot of surprises for you!

I wonder if they're just a little behind the game with all the music fans are listening to already... or if more is coming.

But I think 'eyes' is important, too. They're also promoting their accounts on Instagram and Pinterest.

I'm pretty sure it plays during... [In reply to] Can't Post

... this scene from the second trailer: "Mr. Bilbo, where are you going?" "I'm going on an adventure!". I think it would be perfect. The title of the track "The Adventure Begins" makes it pretty clear I think Smile

Soon these will be so familiar [In reply to] Can't Post

Can you imagine it? It won't be long before we have heard this track and all the others so many times that they become near as familiar as the LotR soundtrack. I only have to hear a second of Howard Shore's LotR score to know the source. That's going to be the case with The Hobbit too, I'm certain. Maybe they'll become so familiar I won't even separate the two trilogies when I hear snippets. Shore is excellent at blending the elements, so I know these are going to fit in right along side their predecessors. I'm overjoyed to have such beautiful music in the world.
