Classic Quotes Same Actor/Different Movie Can't Post

Hi there,

I just wondered if some of the actors in the LOTR trilogy might have some quotes from other movies they were in that could be modified to fit situations in LOTR.

Two examples I can think of are, Ian Holm and John Rhys-Davies.

Gimli: "Orcs, very dangerous! You shoot first"

Old Bilbo (when talking about the ring, in Rivendell): "I can't lie to you about your chances, but you have my sympathies"

Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) To Haleth son of Hama. [In reply to] Can't Post

Aragorn You have to keep carrying the fire.
Haleth: What fire?
Aragorn: The fire inside you

Cool (taken from The Road)

We are more connected than ever before, more able to spread our ideas and beliefs, our anger and fears. As we exercise the right to advocate our views, and as we animate our supporters, we must all assume responsibility for our words and actions before they enter a vast echo chamber and reach those both serious and delirious, connected and unhinged.

Just for a laugh [In reply to] Can't Post

Here's an imaginary moment when everyone realises that Aragorn is really a power hungry maniac.... (I know you weren't after fictitious scenarios, but there we go)

Aragorn: Okay. What's going on? (Crimson Tide)

Bilbo: All my life I've had this strange feeling that there's something big and sinister going on in the world. (Hitchhikers)

Legolas: I've just recently decided that the things we know aren't black and white. (Elizabethtown)

Aragorn: The ebb and flow of the Atlantic tides, the drift of the continents, the very position of the sun along its ecliptic. THESE are just a FEW of the things I control in my world! Is that clear? (GI Jane)

Gandalf: You will not succeed. (Da Vinci Code)

Bilbo: It must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays. (Hitchhikers)

I have to rush to a lecture, so I didn't get time to make it flow properly... Evil

"You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me" - C. S. Lewis

"That line between the earth and sky came beckoning to me..." - Laurie's Song

Fun idea... [In reply to] Can't Post

but I can't think of anything. Unsure If I had read this before I saw Rudy with Sean Astin on Saturday, I might have something to contribute. Sam and Rudy are both determined, plucky little underdogs with big hearts, so there are probably lots of good lines that would fit.
