I don't actually dislike this picture.

Feel free to resize it to the guidelines below and post it within this thread again. From TORN 201: The specific guidelines for posting pictures within the message body of your post are as follows: the maximum size of any picture posted should be 525 wide x 400 pixels high (or a better measure is: 210,000 pixels squared - width x height), but no wider than 670 pixels. The maximum file size per picture should be 45k. The cumulative file size of all pictures in one post should not exceed 225k (5 pictures of the maximum filesize of 45k, 10 pictures of a filesize of 22.5k, etc.). These guidelnes apply to pictures hosted on other sites as well as to pictures posted as attachments to your post. that I was at Michael's last week (a US craft/hobby store) and they had little feather covered / styrofoam owls for sale. I have one of their crows I got at Halloween time years ago and it sits on my floor lamp and looks out the window at all the free birds. But anyone with a Michael's (or similar) store near them that is looking for an owl for a Radagast costume might want to take a look. These are seasonal/Halloween items and won't be around long. I think that hat looks pretty Minnesotan, too.

This poster is marvelous. It looks like Radagast is kind of blurring into the tree, or becoming invisible. I wonder whether that is a clue as to how he will play out in the film.

but the bird poop in Raddy's hair all the time is really starting to grate on me. Really, an Istari who goes around with droppings stuck to his head? I wonder why they felt they needed ANOTHER "comedic relief" character, when they already had a number of Dwarves and a "funnier" Bilbo?

One with nature, for lack of a better term. It sort of shows how fond of the outdoors Radagast is, corresponding to traits revealed in the Hobbit trailers.

I wonder what's happening with Radagrass? Could it just an effect for the poster, or can he actually "meld" with natural things?

1. Radagast Needs to be like" Nothing anyone has ever Seen. The competition in the Movie Industry to introduce something New is Fierce. TH is cutting Edge Tech..so Raddy will be too. He is the Easter Egg? SO unexpected only we know something about. 2. In many ways he is the Opposite type of Wizard than Gandalf. Gandalf us concerned about the Bipedal creatures Radagast as a Maia, concerned with the four-legged Creatures Winged Creatures..the Fauna&Floral things. And his ability to Shape Shift will be Nothing like anyone has seen protraited on screen In 3D! Bomby has hope.

I think it still stays true to the essence of the character but gives us something new and fresh so that we don't have to feel like we're seeing the same thing again. I honestly think he could potentially be one of the "break-out" characters of the trilogy. It seems like he will be portrayed as kind of an aloof wizard that might perhaps even be a bit (dare I say)... ditsy, but I think he will show his badarse side and have some pretty cool attacks and dialogue that will leave people shocked and pleased at the contrast. All of that coupled with his love for animals could create a very endearing character. At least that's just my opinion.
